Keech introduces new wear liners

Australian Earthmoving Magazine News:

Keech’s new Keeliner wear protection system is the latest product development from the Keech Innovation and Quality Centre in Bendigo, Victoria.

Keeliner offers longer wear life with increased wear material, despite an overall reduction in product mass, compared with similar liners in the market.

“The volume of throwaway material is dramatically lower, too,” said David Keech, Director, Sales and Marketing for Keech Australia. “Overall, we’ve designed Keeliner to maximise wear resistance while minimising installation and down time. The result is improved productivity and profitability.”

The highly flexible Keeliner system can be used in most applications where protection against abrasion is sought.

“Keeliners can be used in a single unit or placed in a row to cover large areas,” said David. “We can also design custom wear resistance packages to suit specific requirements. The product is suitable for crushers, ore bins, chute liners, excavator and loader buckets, dump truck trays and a vast range of other uses.”

The wear plates are available in a choice of four different variations or can be custom designed to suit requirements. Plates can be manufactured in Keech low alloy steels, Ni-hard iron or high chrome iron.

“Keeliner uses the patented SidelockTM  hammerless locking system which makes it incredibly quick, easy and safe to use. It attaches simply to a reusable adapter that can be welded to flat or curved surfaces, or we can supply custom adapters. The strong coupling can withstand the most demanding operational forces.”

David says that like all Keech wear products, Keeliner is Australian designed and manufactured to rigorous quality standards.

“Keech is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, and we’re proud to say that equals eight decades of innovation and quality. Our Innovation and Quality Centre brings together people, creative thoughts and a focus on customer challenges to develop innovative products, from better mining buckets to cutting edge ground engaging tools and a wide range of wear components.”
